Golf Shop Assistants
Responsibilities include opening/closing the golf shop and clubhouse facilities, checking-in golfers, taking tee time reservations over the phone, maintaining a neat and organized golf shop, and communicating with outside service staff. Must have basic computer skills as much of this job is performed utilizing the point of sales system. Maintain a professional appearance and offer a high level of customer service at all times.
Responsibilities include greeting golfers with a fun and outgoing personality on the first tee, checking receipts for payment, and taking basic golfer information. Oversee starting times and pair up golfers into groups as well as informing golfers on basic course rules and Pace of Play policy. Starters work with rangers to monitor Pace of Play policy as posted near first tee and in golf carts. Intervenes when necessary to improve Pace of Play. Checks in with golfers to monitor and, if necessary, attend to any issues ensuring a positive customer experience for all.
Outside Service Attendant
Responsible for managing a cart fleet consisting of 65 electric Yamaha golf carts. Clean, park, and stage golf carts for play in the morning and maintain an adequate amount of golf carts throughout the business day. Clean/wash golf carts after use and plug in golf carts for charging. Responsibilities also include maintaining a neat and organized driving range and tee line area. Pick up balls on driving range when necessary using the range picker. Wash and restock range balls in ball machine when necessary.
Compensation/Benefits/Work Requirements: Required to work early/late hours including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required by the nature of the business. Hourly wage based on an average 20-30 hour work week (may vary by position.) Additional benefits include staff uniforms, discount on merchandise/apparel, discount on meals while on duty, complimentary use of the practice range, complimentary golf and guest privileges during non-busy times (walk-on basis.)
