  • June 2nd, 3:00pm to 5:00pm
  • Learn how to swing a croquet mallet, shoot balls through wickets, and how to play a game.
  • Relax on our patio, watch the croquet games, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
  • Spend time with family and neighbors learning this fast growing sport.
  • Attire: croquet whites encouraged**
  • Please wear flat bottom shoes, sneakers etc.

**Why do people wear white when playing croquet?

In short, croquet players wear white because of a tradition that carried over from tennis. And that tradition is said to predate the All England Croquet and Tennis Club policy. Sources indicate that the all-white custom first started in 16th century France, where jeu de paume (an early version of tennis) was played.
