Buckthorn Removal in Progress

In conjunction with the Forest Preserves of Cook County, approximately five acres of buckthorn was removed from the southeast portion of the property. This is a continuation of work already completed to the north on the Chicago Botanic Garden property.

2025 Spring Bird Walk

Join area expert birder, Tim Joyce, of Wild Birds Unlimited, for a bird walk along the Glencoe Golf Club’s forested borders adjacent to the Chicago Botanic Garden. Dress for the weather and ground conditions. Bring binoculars and a small note pad. Tim will reserve time for birding, feeding and landscape questions.
